Greetings zombie minded Evil Geek followers. It is that time again where we talk all things undead that walk, the Zombie Round Up! Last time we played catch up with Glen and Tara; plus we also got to know our new characters, Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene, a little bit better. I really hoped we’d get the chance to see a little bit more of them this week, but the episode focused squarely on the “adventures” of the zombie apocalypse’s hottest odd couple: Darryl and Beth.
It’s Round Up time, Evil Geeks! After last week, we now know what happened to most of the main players from the prison and at the end as a bonus treat, we got to meet some new characters. Well, for anyone who’s read the comic they’re not ENTIRELY new. It’s Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene! Hopefully they’ll play as large a part in the show as they have in the comic (and aside from that, it’s nice to see some new faces on the show after we lost a few back at the prison). Of course, since things on the show don’t always stick to the story of the comics, will these new faces be friend or foe? Let’s find out!
Welcome back to another Zombie Round Up, Evil Geeks! Last week Rick got busy at trying to not die, Michonne occupied herself by realizing that she probably isn’t going to last long all on her own, and Carl passed the time by testing the human limit of patience with bitchy, emo, teens. Out of the core group of survivors, we know that these three made it out of the prison alive and managed to get themselves to safety. Could the other survivors possibly have fared as well?
After a long cold ass Winter (which we’re still currently living through), the zombies are finally thawing out and springing back to undead life! The Governor certainly went out with a bang in the mid-season finale, taking with him the comfy, secure, confines of the prison. The fences are down, zombies have flooded in, and whoever wasn’t killed in the initial melee are scattered to the winds. Not since Brooks in The Shawshank Redemption have people been so dismayed to be leaving a penitentiary. Before getting killed, the Governor managed to hand Rick his own ass, nearly beating him to death. How are he and Carl going to fare all alone out on the open road!?!?!?!
Evil Geeks, it’s no secret that I love zombies. I wouldn’t be spending approximately 16 Sunday nights each year furiously typing away all the latest developments concerning The Walking Dead. It would even be fair to say that I have somewhat of a fascination with the undead. Pay no attention to those human skin-bound books in the back corner of the Evil Lair’s Library, that’s some serious magic you don’t want to mess with. However, the dark arts don’t hold exclusive rights to reanimating the dead. In fact, there’s a plethora of ways that we could end up fighting off the elderly and recently deceased circus clowns, hopelessly fighting a losing war for survival in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. I’ve spent years study how to fight off the undead, but luckily for all of us our friends over at Neo Mammalian Studios have been compiling info on just exactly how the zombies might one day arise and boot us to the bottom of the food chain. While we’re spending the winter break looking for Hershel’s head and Rick’s missing kid, let’s take a little time to learn how this nightmare just might unfold!

We’re finally back to the prison, Evil Geeks! After taking a divergent path for the past two weeks, we follow the Governor back to the prison in order to settle the score with Rick and Michonne. Can these two sides reach an understanding before any blood is spilled? If you read the comic, then you know that the answer to that question is a resounding “Nope.” Shit got real tonight kids, so let’s get right down to the review. Consider this your spoiler warning!
