Our Liefeld week is sadly coming near to an end, so today I will not be pontificating and educating you about some amazing creature in my usual style. Instead I dedicate today’s post to random artwork I have found by our star this week that involves creatures of some form or another. Enjoy the artwork nerds!
The week has gone by all too quickly again, and here you find yourselves ready for yet another post by your faithful Lilith. And sure enough, this weekend’s creature comforts post is one to get all hot and bothered by. I know I’ve been on a Star Wars kick lately, specifically spending a lot of time on Tatooine, but today I am completely shifting gears and bringing you an article on quite an accumulation of amazing creatures. That’s right, I am not sticking with one species, but instead am spotlighting all the incredible aliens that the dinosaur god Steven Spielberg has ever created. So there will be quite a few aliens to talk about this week, ending with my personal favorite of this powerhouse’s monsters.
Hey there geeks, sorry to have abandoned you all last weekend. I got myself in to a little bit of a skirmish with today’s creature. You see, Jabba and I got in to a bit of an argument, he wasn’t too flattered by what I wrote earlier this month and made me battle it out with his mother Rancor. But I am happy to report the creature is alive, and as payment for winning my bet with the Hutt I have been given my very own baby Rancor to raise alongside my wolves in the Evil Lair. Of course I am sure the sphinxes will enjoy taking this baby monster out for some joy rides too. And it makes it pretty easy for me to spotlight this stunning creature, one of my favorites from Episode 6: that’s right folks, today I bring you the infamous Rancor!
Happy weekend Star Wars nerds! Today we are venturing a little bit aways from Jabba’s Palace though staying on the planet of Tatooine. Today we meet a monster that will bring you a thousand deaths over centuries, a creature used for torture and punishment, an alien that should be both feared and revered: The Sarlacc.
That’s right folks, we’re still stranded on Tatooine this weekend and why not feature the big cheese himself: Jabba and his kind. This ruthless slug-like alien is a vicious crimelord, and his title “the Hutt” is actually in reference to his species, so let’s learn a little more about these monstrous aliens.
Welcome back all you Star Wars loving geeks, I have been working on my degree in cryptozoology just for you and decided to spend some time combing over the various species encountered in Jabba’s Palace. It is full of some wonderful creatures and equally stellar scenes. Today we start with an alien species that I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t meet one on Doctor Who sometime. We’re going to talk about Twi’lek’s, and specifically one of Jabba’s main men in the movie: Bib Fortuna.
