Hey Evil Geeks! Today’s episode finds C-Mart and Undies of Wondy talking with THE Popculturist himself, Robert Bruce of AMC’s Comic Book Men. We of course talk toys for a while, but we also delve into some of the other items that Robert collects as well! If you’re are true collector at heart, then you will not want to miss this episode!

So, you know how I read and review terrible books? Like, the kinds of books you wouldn’t want your worst enemy to have to read? Well, I was given this book so that it could be featured in this series… but little did the gifter suspect that I was such a huge fan of the Police Academy series of films that I was actually almost excited to get into this thing! But that doesn’t mean it wasn’t terrible, so hopefully you can still get some kind of schadenfreude from my having to read it.
There’s more? But of course. You can check out part 1 if you missed it and if not take a look below at some of the vintage geek magic that is Tokyo. I think I spent more time in retro video game stores marveling over the elaborate cover art for 8 bit games than anything else. The whole trip was beautifully surreal and these pictures do a damn good job summing that up.
You may recall a few months ago we did a podcast about my honeymoon trip to the nerd mecha of Tokyo. It was an amazing experience and I couldn’t wait to to share some of the things I saw there with everyone. It was a perfect combination of the amazing and bizarre. Take a peek below at some of the geek culture highlights of the trip.
You can see Part 2 here.
Lots of nerds are really just kids at heart and the Evil Geeks are no different. In our latest episode of Return To Dimension X, Martian Luthor Kang and Biff Tannen discuss the Toy Fair they just came back from and the treasure trove of awesomeness they returned with. Sit back, relax and get ready to go toy hunting with your favorite nerds.
Greetings Evil Geeks! Recently, we’ve been doing a little digging around the Evil Lair and we’ve managed to turn up some exciting artifacts. To say that the Evil Lair is an ancient and mysterious place would be selling short the strangeness of the ancestral home of The Brotherhood of Evil Geeks. We actually bought the place off a group of retired Bothan spies, but those guys lived here for a REALLY long time before we got here though and they told us they got it on the cheap after there was a series of grisly Gorn murders committed in the sun room. Countless lab “accidents”, weapon misfires, prison riots, and demon infestations, have left several stratified layers of previous civilizations beneath the floorboards. After spending much of our formative years watching and constantly re-watching the Indiana Jones TRILOGY (because as you know, as far as C-Mart is concerned there are only three Indiana Jones movies, that’s it. No more, only THREE!!!), we feel that we’re pretty much experts in all there is to know about archaeology: punching Nazi’s before they melt, whiskey, chilled monkey brains, and occasionally digging something out of the dirt. On our most recent expedition to the bowels of the Evil Lair, we’ve managed to turn up some geek artifacts that we think folks will get a kick out of seeing.
