The Evil Geeks Holiday Interview Special w/ Michael Nathanson and Tamsen McDonough

We got you a present this year, Evil Geeks! Hope you dig interviews, because we have two incredible ones for you today. First up, C-Mart and Undies of Wondy talk with Michael Nathanson who can currently be seen as Agent Sam Stein in Netflix and Marvel’s The Punisher. After that, C-Mart talks with Tamsen McDonough who is better known as  Lucy on Syfy’s Killjoys. Fun fact: Both of today’s guests are part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe! Michael because of his role as Sam, while Tamsen played a laboratory associate of Liv Tyler’s Betty Ross in The Incredible Hulk.

The “Heroes of Cosplay” Return: A Review of Episodes 1 and 2 by your friendly neighborhood Undiesofwondy!

On May 27th, 2014, Season 1, Part 2 of SyFy’s new reality show “Heroes of Cosplay”, aired. This show garnered a lot of attention, both positive and negative, from the cosplay community upon its debut last August. Many cosplayers considered the show to be an inaccurate depiction of what the cosplay community is like, and that there was too much of an emphasis on the competition aspect of cosplay. Some of the original “Heroes” returned for Season 1.5 however, cast members Monika Lee, Becky Young, and Victoria Schmidt did not.

TV From The Crypts: Part 3 of Lilith’s Mission: Battlestar Galactica Season 3

Wow I feel like I am flying through this series, and finding new things I like about it every new season. Still dark and depressing at times, I really love how the characters, humans and cylons alike, have grown. Spoiler alert: continue forward for my more detailed take on this season.

TV From The Crypts: Alphas Season 1

Hello my couch potato following cronies, ready for another edition of retired TV shows? This week I bring you another show that is relatively recently pensioned, and though there are two seasons that you can indulge in I will start with the first.  The SyFy channel brings us another enjoyable show, Alphas, which to many would seem like a bit of a less intense version of X-Men. Being someone that doesn’t have cable, I never really watched the SyFy channel, but I will say that Amazon seems to recommend a lot of their TV shows for me based on previous selections now, which is turning out to be for my (and your) benefit. I stumbled upon Alphas in just that manner, purchasing the last season of Fringe only to have Alphas recommended to me (don’t worry folks, I will get to Fringe in this column, and it will be epic).
