Evil Movie Review: Terminator Salvation and Genisys

Successfully completing my mission to watch all of the Terminator movies, I can finally bring you my reviews of the most recent two installments in the series. A combination of explosions, psychopathic futuristic machines, and time travel science fiction, I can see why a lot of people love these movies. And the pounding drums of the main (albeit simple) theme song instill both a feeling of fear, anticipation, and determination. Here’s my take on these last two films, from a Lilith perspective.

Hey there gamers, I know there a lot of you following the geeks. And this is Lilith’s first time writing a game review. So it’s a big day I guess. Yup, that’s right. I watched it. I did wait for it to come out on blu-ray, but I sat through all two hours of this CGI-laden film. And now you get to read my scathing review from your comfortable couch, crotchety cubicle, stinky subway seat, or wherever it may be that your diabolical self has the time. Enjoy, and as always, spoilers to follow.

There are a lot of post-apocalyptic stories out there for all of us to indulge in, but every once in a while one really hits home. Children of Men was one of those films for me. I guess the story about the human race being unable to conceive children, and hence facing certain extinction, was not the reason I loved this movie. But there are many more that I want to talk to you about. This movie is one that I find myself coming back to again and again, not tiring of it’s beauty and darkness, as well as it’s message of hope and in a broken world. So I figured it was only appropriate to make a suggestions post out of it. Of course, for those of you that have not seen it already, read on for my spoiler-filled review of why this movie is one I will suggest as a personal favorite to all you evil geeks out there.
