Hello Evil Geeks! It’s your friendly neighborhood Undiesofwondy here with a new review. It’s been a while, but sometimes, movies are so amazing that they practically compel you to write something about them. (Occasionally, they’re so terrible that they compel a review too, but this is definitely not the case for this movie.)
Greetings, Evil Geeks! In this new, crazy, mixed-up, SHIELD vs. Hydra world, we’re still getting to know who’s got people where, who has the capabilities to do what, and basically who the players are now that battle lines have been drawn. This week gives us a little set up for what the sides are going to come down to and who’s aligned with who. Confused yet? This is espionage, man! There is no good or bad, just varying shades of grey!
Greetings Evil Geek Marvelites! Last week Agents of SHIELD came back for a brand new season and right away things got INTENSE! We were introduced to the brand new SHIELD, headed by director Phil Coulson, we got caught up on whatever everyone was up to (becoming a badass, being an insane prisoner, being half a vegetable with hallucinations of a lost love, you know, typical summer stuff), and we were introduced to a brand new baddie: Carl “Crusher” Creel, better known as the Absorbing Man. It was a big first episode and the second one manages to pick up right where the first left off. Let’s talk espionage!
Hey True Believers
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is back and that means that Big Evil and C-Mart are back too…the last time we saw Coulson and company they were wrapping up the whole Deathlok debacle, HYDRA was outed as a splinter cell within the organization, and Nick Fury himself went into hiding and left Phil Coulson in charge as the new Director. So can Coulson and company keep the ship afloat? Read on to find out… Read the rest of this entry
It’s finale time, Evil Geeks! After a season that some said started off painfully slow and a roller-coaster of a back-end of the season, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD finally wrapped up its first season this week in typical Marvel Cinematic U fashion; with action, intrigue, plot twists, and a guest cameo. With SHIELD on the ropes and Hydra on the upswing, will Coulson and his chosen team be able to overcome the nefarious powerhouse trio of Garrett, Ward, and of course the cybernetic hench droid, Deathlok? Let’s get to the reviewing!
Excelsior True Believers!
OK, so we’re almost to the end of the season for S.H.I.E.L.D. and I’ve got a two-part review here for you and all I can say is dammmmnnnn…. it’s really been a wild ride and has really opened up the Marvel Cinematic U in my opinion. The last place that C-Mart left us off is that May is gone, Scarface Ward is back and he’s super creepy and has killed Agent Koenig and has basically kidnapped Skye (although she was kinda playing him) and the team no longer has The Bus. Given the fact that we’re only a couple days from the end of the first season these episodes have kinda pulled out all the stops, so c’mon, keep on reading!
