Hey there Evil Geekites, it’s been a month since the Boston Comic Con (Check out our cosplay pics here and here), but that doesn’t mean that we don’t still think about that con. In fact, I managed to bring home a few sweet pieces of artwork as souvenirs from the show. I mamged to score a some signed prints from artist Jim Califore and from Spider-Man legend Mark Bagley! Let’s take a closer look at some art, shall we?!?!

Hello Nerd Nation
Con season is almost upon us and the Evil Geeks are heading to Boston Comic Con on April 20th! At last years NYCC I was talking with Jim Calafiore of Marvel and DC fame and he had these really awesome 12″x12″ Jackson Pollack-esque/Pop Art portrait prints of Superheroes. Jim literally had everyone that you could imagine, but alas, by the time I found him he was sold out of a bunch of the ones that I really wanted. Well, I’ve got the chance to get some awesome artwork this April when Jim comes to Boston and you can too! Plus, if you can’t make it to the con, you can always purchase artwork on his website; jimcalafiore.com. Check out some of the images below and make sure you get ahold of Jim if you like what you see!

I’ve included a sampling of my favorite images below for you to check out. Prints are available in different sizes and it seems that the prices top out at $20 (What a Steal!) So what are you waiting for? Get your ass to theninjabot.com and get some limited edition artwork for that plain ‘ol wall of yours and support these badass artists!
Hope your New Years Eve was a blast and the hangover wore off quickly! I was trolling the internet and found this little piece of awesomeness that is just amazing! Apparently there is an animator for Pixar known as Everett Downing who has vowed to make an original super person (hero, villian, or otherwise) every day for a year!!!
