Hey there, Evil Geeks! In the time that we’ve been around, quite a few folks have passed through the front door of the Evil Lair. Between podcast guests, interviewees, review subjects and guest writers, we’ve played host to an ever growing list of new friends and acquaintances. Almost 63% of those who’ve entered our sanctum sanctorum have lived to tell the tale and have even gone on to continue working on their passion projects. Today we’re going to take a look at some of the latest works from some of the people who’ve been kind enough to spend some time with us and share their works.
Good Morning Nerds
Yesterday my man Arthur gave us a review of Sam Johnson’s Geek Girl, so today I’m following up with one for another of Johnson’s books; Mr. Mash-Up issue #0. Sidebar, if you’ve read Geek Girl, you’ve actually seen Mr. Mash-up in one of the final panels of issue #0. Mr. Mash-Up #0 was an interesting take on a book for the traditional first issue because it was set up like an anthology with three distinct stories that Mr. Mash-Up appears in, but isn’t alway the main focus.
