This has been a great year for the Harry Potter Universe. While J.K Rowling has said she is “done” with the actual stories about Potter, she has delved in to the world of playwright and screenwriter to experiment in her wonderful world of witches and wizards. The hype surrounding Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has been building for almost two years now. This story features Eddie Redmayne playing Newt Scamander, the famous author of the textbook by the same name as the title. Those of us true Harry Potter fans already read Rowling’s version of the text book when it came out in paperback way back when, but now there’s a whole story to surround the making of aid textbook. This week I dove back in to the Potterverse head first, and here’s my spoiler filled review of them movie.
Since I am on a Doctor Who kick this week why not bring you one of the coolest, and creepiest, alien species from the series to you this weekend. The Vashta Nerada, instilling fear of the dark in to all cultures for good reason. These monsters have made me buy a nightlight.
Happy Saturday Whovians! I am excited for all you Doctor Who fans that are going to be relishing in the start of the new doctor this season, but I will admit I am a little behind still. I have only made it through Series 4 myself, but wanted to spotlight one of my favorite alien creatures from the series this weekend: The Ood.
I was watching The Avengers for probably the 12th time this week when I realized I needed to write a post on those crazy aliens that come through the Tesseract portal at the end of the film. There are many shapes and forms, and like in most superhero movies they successfully destroy over half of Manhattan. So today I am going to bring you more details than you could ever desire about this alien species known as the Chitauri.
Happy weekend alien lovers, much like I will never tire of rambling about creatures from Doctor Who, the plethora of monsters to mention from the Star Wars universe seems endless. Our creature feature today has a back story to why I chose today to spotlight it. Continue on for your fill of Lilith’s Creature Comforts.
Hey there geeks, sorry to have abandoned you all last weekend. I got myself in to a little bit of a skirmish with today’s creature. You see, Jabba and I got in to a bit of an argument, he wasn’t too flattered by what I wrote earlier this month and made me battle it out with his mother Rancor. But I am happy to report the creature is alive, and as payment for winning my bet with the Hutt I have been given my very own baby Rancor to raise alongside my wolves in the Evil Lair. Of course I am sure the sphinxes will enjoy taking this baby monster out for some joy rides too. And it makes it pretty easy for me to spotlight this stunning creature, one of my favorites from Episode 6: that’s right folks, today I bring you the infamous Rancor!
