Evil Geeks, it wasn’t that long ago, perhaps maybe 3 or 4 months back when this show was first getting off the ground that one of our readers said in the comment section that they were waiting for Agent’s of SHIELD to have a “HOLY SHIT!!!” moment to really get them into the story. I assured them that with Joss Whedon at the helm, this show would most certainly have a moment like that in store for the audience. After the first half of the season I was starting to worry that I would have to eat those words, but the second half of the season has been EXPLOSIVE beyond all hopes, with nearly every single episode giving us a jaw dropper. With surprise after surprise being rained down on us, would the Marvel U’s first foray into television be able to keep us in suspense? After Turn, Turn, Turn, the answer to that question is a resounding “YYYUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPPPPPPP!!!!”
HOLY SHIT True Believers!
My headline says all it needs to about this weeks episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Let’s recap what’s gone on so far in the past few weeks… first Skye was gunned down and left for dead by Ian Quinn who was working for the Clairvoyant. Mike Peterson who seemed like a good guy was transformed into the cybernetic Deathlok, and the team rushed to get the Coulson cure for Skye which turned out to be some blue guys alien blood! On top of that, it appeared that Melinda May is a double agent of some sort ending the last episode with Coulson knows… Wanna know where we go from here, just keep on reading! Welcome back Evil Geek S.H.I.E.L.D. bearers! Remember back in the not too distant past when everyone was all like “Wow, this S.H.I.E.L.D. show is slow-moving”? It seems the second half of the season has stepped up its game quite a bit and now we’re getting big happenings in every episode. This week was certainly no different, as we get a genuine super-villain, a big time Asgardian straight from one of the recent Marvel flicks, and a bit of a surprise at the end. Let’s not waste any more time vamping, wheels up in 5!
Hey There True Believers!
S.H.I.E.L.D. is back from it’s hiatus and man… this show is finally starting to heat up! This week we saw some shit! You may recall that Skye was dying at the end of the last episode and was inserted into a hyperbaric tank. Does she make it? Read on to find out…
Hey There True Believers!
It’s been a pretty busy week in general between the Super Bowl, Olympics, and the Lego Movie but I finally got a chance to sit down and watch the last episode of S.H.I.E.L.D. Before they take a brief hiatus and all I have to say is damnnnnnnnnnn… Seriously, I’ve said before that this show is somewhat of a slow burn and I’ll stick to that, but this weeks episode gave us quite a bit to move forward with, so on with the review!

Say what you will Evil Geeks, but for a show that was taking things super slow plot-wise in the first part of the season, SHIELD seems to have stepped up its game quite a bit for the back half of the episode order. In the two episodes we’ve had since the show returned from the Christmas break, both of the shows longest running mysteries had the curtains drawn back on them. First we find out the truth about Coulson and Tahiti, then this week we get (almost) the whole story on Skye’s secret origin. If that wasn’t enough to keep the fans satisfied, this week we also get a supervillain origin thrown in to make the entire affair that much sweeter. Get on the Bus Evil Geeks. We’re wheels up after the break.
