Jurassic Park was one of those groundbreaking movies that changed the way we thought about movies. For those of us that were children when it came out, it blew us away and is forever ingrained in our minds. I can still remember being a ten year old pretending to be a raptor running around my front yard (and no, I am not ashamed of that). Then there was the Lost World, not as groundbreaking as Jurassic Park, but a good film none the less. Lastly was Jurassic Park 3, a movie that I admit I never watched, receiving mixed reviews and starting to forge away from a mixture of CGI and animatronics towards a more encompassing embracement of CGI. It’s been 14 years since that last installment, and Amblin Entertainment along with Legendary Pictures decided it was time to pursue another movie for this franchise, and got superstar Chris Pratt to play the lead. Here’s my spoiler filled review of an attempt at rebooting the Jurassic Park universe.
Hello again geeks, it’s been a little while since I wrote a post on a retired TV show, and today’s is near and dear to me. Way back when, my first post ever for the geeks, was for the original BBC series Primeval. I loved that show, and all the amazing dinosaurs and creatures that came with it. I was thrilled to find out that a Canadian network decided to reboot the show, and here is my review for you. Get ready for more dinos and spoilers but less British accents.
