This month our bad ass evil geeks are going to share with you what they are salivating over for their stockings or dreaming about for under their tree. What better way to embrace your inner evil geek than get fully into the capitalistic celebration that the holidays have become? Today Lilith is going to share with you what she’s hoping she’ll get for her lair.
Well sh*t, I’m sorry, I’ve been in a meeting these last few months! Just kidding, but I wish I could come up with excuses as well as Negan can, and sound as awesome saying them…On that note, Lilith is back with a review of this week’s Season 8 (God-damn that’s right, season 8) premier of The Walking Dead. And there is so much to talk about. And you better have your spoiler-pants on if you want to read forward.
Hello sweeties! Need some more Who in your life but despite the multitude of spin-off TV shows you can’t find your fix? Have I got the solution for you: BBC’s Doctor Who Audio Series. You pick your favorite character and venture away to distant planets and future times, or vice versus. I was desperate for something for that morning commute, and stumbled across The Diary of River Song. Wink, spoilers ahead sweeties.
This has been a great year for the Harry Potter Universe. While J.K Rowling has said she is “done” with the actual stories about Potter, she has delved in to the world of playwright and screenwriter to experiment in her wonderful world of witches and wizards. The hype surrounding Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has been building for almost two years now. This story features Eddie Redmayne playing Newt Scamander, the famous author of the textbook by the same name as the title. Those of us true Harry Potter fans already read Rowling’s version of the text book when it came out in paperback way back when, but now there’s a whole story to surround the making of aid textbook. This week I dove back in to the Potterverse head first, and here’s my spoiler filled review of them movie.
Nope you didn’t miss an episode with some unheard of title; I’ve been scouring the evil lair for the last two weeks trying to find that tunnel the dwarves dug out to Canada. Naturally I failed, so you’re stuck with more Lilith reviews in the meantime. During my absence a whole three episodes have gone by in TWD, and I want to bring you up to speed on my thoughts about them. Watch out for machetes, hand cuffs, spoilers and the like.
Ok folks, this week I’ve got a special post for you just in time for the next episode. Why special? Well, you know my reviews always come speckled with spoilers. This week it will come speckled with politics as well. You have been warned. Move on if you don’t want to hear my politic opinion and how it related to TWD, but I promise to not get too deep or angry.
