Cover Of The Day 5/11/15
Dave Stevens was a wonderful artist known primarily for his work on The Rocketeer. His interior art unfortunately is criminally small, but luckily he did devote a lot of time to doing comic covers.
When I randomly found this cover, I wasn’t quite sure what I was looking at. I still don’t, but I know it’s amazing and that’s good enough for me. A scantily clad pinup nurse and a massive cybernetically enhanced possum that could give Cable a run for his money? Yes, please.
I did find out that this belongs to the cover of Orbit #1 from 1990, a best of collection of short stories appearing in legendary sci-fi author, Isaac Asimov’s magazine.
Win/Win.
