Thanos: Romancer of Death, Master of Accessorizing

Hey there Evil Geeks, we’re still several months away from Avengers: Age of Ultron, but Marvel is already ramping up to the 2 part mega-crossover event Avengers: Infinity War. Those films are still years away, but if you’ve been paying close attention to the Marvel Cinematic U, you’ve noticed that there’s been someone looming ominously in the background the whole time. Who is this mystery power player, pulling the strings behind the scenes?

As we found out in Guardians of the Galaxy, it’s Thanos, the Mad Titan. Thanos, is presumably trying to get his hands on the Infinity Guantlet; an item that grants its owner near limitless power. The Guantlet is powered by the six Infinity Gems (or Stones as they’re known in the MCU), with each Gem granting different powers. What do each of the Gems do? Our good friends at NeoMam Studios have put together a helpful infographic explains what each of the incredibly powerful jewels do in the Marvel Comic Universe. The colors of each stone slightly differ in the cinematic universe, but the powers are the same nonetheless. Study up of the infographic now, because in a few years, all out war will be raging over the Guantlet!
